About Us

         Ralas Fashion designer find its origin in the year 1978. It was started in a small manner by Smt. Rajini Parthasarathy. Even at that time, various modern tailoring patterns were done by her like blouse, skirt, top, pattu pavadai, chudidhar etc. Her dedication and determination have gotten her more no. of people whom she had catered during those years with regards to meeting the needs of the people in the tailoring works. She has also undergone a lot of hardships during the course of this business. During the course of her small business, she also taught many people about tailoring. There is saying which says Live and Let Live. This act of hers of teaching tailoring to various people gives a perfect example of the saying "Live and Let Live”. Her dedication towards this art of embroidery and tailoring is paramount and will act as a motivation for the future budding entrepreneurs to come.

        After her demise in 2000 this creative work is now carried on by her daughter Lakshmi Parthasarathy with the same zeal and dedication and the same principles laid down by her Mother.
